There's nothing heroic about what I do

Donald Duck did Inception years ago

Back in 2002 the Beagle Brothers used a machine to enter the dreams of Uncle Scrooge McDuck to trick him into revealing the combination to his vault. Donald Duck had to go into the dream to stop them.

Hmm, anyone else think that comic sounds like a Christopher Nolan film?

Read the full comic here, or download it as a PDF here.

Come on. The idea of invading other peoples dreams the premis of lots of ficton. Night mare on elm street (1984) to metion one, Dreamscape (also 1984) is an other.

Not to mention Carlos Castaneda (allegedly apprentice of an Indian sorcerer). In one of his books “The Art of Dreaming” (1993), ((http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Art_of_Dreaming,),
he mentions a technique, where a group of sorcerers lie down to sleep and sharing a dream, they create a whole new physical world, complete with inhabitants and buildings and stuff.

Michael Marshall Smith’s book Only Forward also deals with dream worlds, as does H P Lovecraft’s Dreamland stories
