Who knows what evil lurks in the heart of men?
Well Quentin Tarantino may be at the helm of the pulp heroes return to the big screen. Sam Raimi has had the rights for a while to Lamont Cranston aka The Shadow and now Pajiba have this rumour (it is just a rumour at the moment) that Tarantino could be involved.
I really enjoy the pulp genre and The Shadow is one of the biggies. I even enjoyed Alec Baldwin’s turn as the character.
Tarantino has got lots of projects running, so this is just another one added to the list. However, I could see him doing a spot on job as his geekiness will drag in all the essentials.
How would he turn it into his own though? He never makes them how you would expect – a heist movie that doesn’t show the heist, Inglourious Basterds barely showed the Basterds and so on.
When they do eventually get around to making the film who would you like to see play The Shadow?
