I've seen things you people wouldn't believe

Emmys 2010 – Christina Hendricks and her two friends were there

Of course I meant her Mad Men co-stars January Jones and Elisabeth Moss. What did you think I meant?

The show won the award for best drama. Hendricks didn’t win, but she probably had a nice glass of whisky anyway.

British actress Archie Panjabi (East is East, Bend it Like Beckham) won the best supporting actress award for her role as private detective Kalinda Sharma in the US drama The Good Wife.

Julia Ormond won an Emmy – best supporting actress in a miniseries or movie award for her role in Temple Grandin.

Ricky Gervais hosted the award ceremony and took the opportunity to take a swipe at Mel Gibson. ‘I’m not going to make fun of him, he’s been through a lot,’ he said with a smile, adding, ‘Not as much as the Jews, to be fair.’
