Tanit Phoenix could be Wonder Woman

The Wonder Woman TV show is still in development under the watchful eye of David E Kelly (Ally McBeal).

There has been no futher news on the show, but now a rumour is out that South African model / actress, Tanit Phoenix (Lost Boys: The Thirst, Lord of War) is one of the actresses under consideration.

She certainly looks the part, but there will no doubt be quite a few names mentioned over the next week or so. Any young, brunette actress will probably be in the running.

Eliza Dushku (Buffy, Dollhouse) also keeps getting mentioned for the role, but so far she has laughed them off.

I still think Signe Nordstrom should get the role.

Is Phoenix the right choice for the role? Who would you like to see play Wonder Woman and what aspects of the character from the character do you want to see in the TV show?

Tanit Phoenix all the way!!!! she is the only candidate up there that I can see playing Wonder Woman, new fresh face, sexy as hell! and she is mysterious, no one really knows her, just like the character of Wonder Woman, she is not from America! whether its based on an amazonian warrior or the Greek version! Tanit is coming out with Death Race2 this year, she plays opposite Ving Rhames, Sean Bean, Luke Goss and Danny Trejo! she was cast as lead, in South Africa, and then she arrives in LA a month ago and wins the lead role in HBO’s new series, FEMME FATALES… that is just amazing! she is talented… and lets also remind the people out there, most of our beautiful A list actresses you see today, started out as models! Charlize Theron(south African) was a model!!! Oscar winner, so was Kim Basinger.. so don’t cast judgment because she is beautiful! she is going to blow people minds! mark my words.. on the way to the top!
