Gareth Edwards, the director behind indie sci-fi / love story Monsters is taking on the Daddy of all monsters.
He will be directing the Godzilla reboot for Legendary Pictures if all goes to plan according to Heat Vision.
Monsters won the director three British Independent Film Awards for best director, best achievement in production and best technical achievement.
As Monsters only hinted at the alien creatures for most of the movie, will Edwards follow the same path with Godzilla?
The script is still being written, but I think he could be a great choice for the remake.
