Movie Infographics

When I started writing Movies by Design, I thought it would be limited to a only a few things. I envisaged writing about the materials created by the studios to promote their movies – such as posters and lobby cards, film title sequences, fan based homages in any guise and the odd movie related designer showcase, but I was mistaken. With such a wide range of diverse work available online, I am realising that there is more and it would simply be wrong not to share it with you.

Let’s take today’s beauties – Infographics. I don’t know another designer who doesn’t appreciate good quality infographics. Taking complicated statistical or factual information and expressing it in a beautifully crafted piece of design deserves some serious love.

So, here are some awesome movie related infographics: even if the information doesn’t impress you, the stunning design will.
