Peter Dinklage – no matter what he stars in he is always awesome. A great actor who just owns every role he plays. He did great things in Game of Thrones and I cannot wait to see him in Knights of Badassdom.
It also appears that Captain America co-writer Christopher Markus also likes Dinklage as he wants him in the sequel.
Recent reports have suggested the sequel to The First Avenger will be partly set in the modern-day and World War II. They also set it up nicely to tell the tale of the Winter Soldier, but Markus wants MODOK – Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing.
“I love MODOK and I think you could make a terrifying movie with MODOK but nobody seems to be on my side at the momentum,” Markus said in an interview with the LA Times.
”In this movie, the great thing is [the visual effects and makeup team] really pulled off the Red Skull. It doesn’t look like a mask. it looks like it’s fully integrated into his flesh. And I want to see what they can do with MODOK.”
The character in the comic book was tied into the Cosmic Cube which was the macguffin from the first film so it could be tied in rather well.
If Peter Dinklage was onboard I am 100% behind the idea of seeing MODOK on the big screen. How about you?
