Robert Schwentke (Red) is directing the adaptation of R.I.P.D.
Ryan Reynolds plays Nick, a murdered cop who joins the undead officers of the Rest in Peace Department to find the man who murdered him. Jeff Bridges plays Roy, a veteran officer of the department who partners Nick. Kevin Bacon is the film’s villain.
The members of the R.I.P.D. do not appear as themselves to the living. Instead they have different forms. Reynolds will be played by James Hong (Big Trouble in Little China) and Bridges will look like Victoria’s Secret model model Marisa Miller – lots of photos of her here.
