Here is Jeff Lebowski aka Kevin Flynn aka Rooster Cogburn aka Jeff Bridges on the set of R.I.P.D.
As you can see he is playing a cowboy. A dead cowboy in fact who is part of the Rest In Peace Department. They are ghosts who hunt down other ghosts yet when they are on Earth doing their job living humans see them as different people. In the case of Jeff’s character he appears as the Victoria Secrets model Marissa Miller. You can see photos of her here.
Bridges is playing the partner of the films main star, Ryan Reynolds, who is newly dead to the R.I.P.D. force. His face to the living is played by James Hong (Blade Runner, Big Trouble In Little China).
Still too early to tell what this film is going to be like. The fact they have Jeff Bridges and Kevin Bacon involved does make me feel good about the project.

Green Lantern’s Ryan Reynolds will be playing Nick Walker – renamed from Nick Cruz – a police officer killed in the line of duty who is subsequently assigned to the R.I.P.D. – the Rest in Peace Department.
The department is staffed by a team of late police officers and detectives who, as punishment for certain sins in life, are tasked with hunting down demons, fiends, lost souls and other ne’er-do-wells.
Nick must play along with the department while he hunts down the fiend who framed and murdered him in life, his only chance for redemption and ascent.
