Edward will be taking on the role of Samuel Peters (The Zombie King) and Corey will be taking the role of Kalfu the God of Malevolence. These characters have an interesting twist to a zombie film. Samuel Peters (Furlong) once an ordinary man, dabbles within the laws of voodoo to bring his wife back from the grave, he soon encounters the God of malevolence ‘Kalfu’ (Feldman), where he makes a pact with him to destroy the underworld and bring chaos to earth; in return he will become ‘The Zombie King’ and walk the earth for eternity with his belated wife. Seven days before the rise of the Dark Moon, Samuel Peters calls upon Kalfu to raise the dead of the recently departed, where their souls must be held on earth for seven days. With the ever growing horde of zombies, they begin to completely wipe out a countryside town. Once the Government get wind of what is going on, they set a perimeter around the town area and employ a shoot on sight policy. Trapped within the town, the locals and unlikely bunch of misfits fight for their lives, and the remaining humans soon realise that they have to unite in order to survive. Seeking sanctuary in a local church, they discover a bizarre disturbed priest where he gives them the knowledge of ‘The Zombie King’. Can our hero’s unravel the clues in time and survive or will The Zombie King and his horde of zombies rise on the night of the dark moon?
Edward shot to fame in 1991 for his role in Terminator 2: Judgement day as John Connor, this role saw him win an ‘MTV Movie Award’ for ‘Best Break Through Role’ and a ‘Saturn Award’ for ‘Best Young Actor’. Edwards career began to rocket and was nominated for further awards also winning ‘The Young Artist Award’ for’ ‘Best Youth Actor Leading Role in a Motion Picture Drama’ for his role in ‘A Home of Our Own’. Along with Terminator 2 Edward is best known for his roles in ‘American History X’ and ‘Pecker’. Corey is best known for roles in Hollywood films, Friday the 13th: the final chapter, The Goonies, Stand By Me and The Lost Boys. Corey has been nominated and won various prestigious awards most recently in 2004 he won the award ‘Former child Star Life Time Achievement’ from The Young Artists Awards, 2007 an ‘Eyegore Award’ and in 2008 he won ‘Best Actor In a Feature under $1million’ for his role in ‘Terror Inside.
Along with Corey Feldman and Edward Furlong the cast is packed with fantastic UK names including Giles Alderson (The Torment, Night Junkies), Forbes KB (Interrogating Vivian, Harry Brown), Jay Sutherland (Pulp), Patrick Toomey (The Curse of the King Tut’s Tomb), George McCluskey (Frontman), Anabel Barnston (BBC’s Coming of Age) and Nathan Head (Mark Macready and the Archangel Murders) just to name a few.
