Every time I see something for the new hockey movie Goon I always think of Eric Powell’s The Goon and so there is always the slight feeling of disappointment.
However, this red band trailer does look good.
Labelled an outcast by his brainy family, a bouncer overcomes long odds to lead a team of under performing misfits to semi-pro hockey glory, beating the crap out of everything that stands in his way.
The film stars Seann Michael Scott, Jay Baruchel, Liev Schreiber, Alison Pill and Eugene Levy.
Goon is due out in March 2012.
