Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows…..this is not that Shadow.
Instead this is a poster for Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. The final poster until the film is released on 16th December.
I will be watching it as I enjoyed the first film, but this poster is pretty poor. Neither Holmes (Robert Downey Jr) or Watson (Jude Law) are looking in the same direction. They’re not even looking at Moriarty (Jared Harris) who is obviously casting the shadow. Plus the light sources are coming from all over the place meaning the shadow wouldn’t even be there.
Still I do like the way they have the text details running around the edge of the poster.
