Director Stephen St Leger talks about the character of Snow (Guy Pearce) in this piece about M.S. One aka Escape from M.S. One formerley known as Lockout. He could have at least mentioned Escape from New York and Snake Plissken. Still, the film does look like it will be fun.
MS One experimental space is a prison where 500 most dangerous criminals in the world are kept in an artificial sleep. Responsible for a humanitarian mission, the daughter of the President of the United States, Emily Warnock (Maggie Grace), arrives aboard the station. A mutiny of rare violence breaks out. Emilie and MS One team are taken hostage by the inmates. The President decided to send the agent Snow (Guy Pearce) with the sole mission to save her daughter and no one else.
The film is out on April 20, 2012.
