Here are a few trailers that I haven’t got round to posting before.

Hope Springs

Many years of marriage have left Maeve (Meryl Streep) wanting to spice things up and reconnect with her husband. When she hears of a famed relationship guru (Steve Carell) in the town of Great Hope Springs, she must persuade her skeptical husband (Tommy Lee Jones) to get on a plane for an intense week of marriage and sex therapy. Getting there was hard enough…now shedding their bedroom hang ups, learning some new moves and rediscovering their youthful spark is when the real adventure begins.

Red Hook Summer

Spike Lee’s next film – A boy from Atlanta lands in Brooklyn to spend the summer with his grandfather, who he’s never seen before.

Booker’s Place: A Mississippi Story

In 1965, documentary filmmaker Frank DeFelitta traveled to Mississippi to shoot a film on the subject of racism in the American South. As he went about observing life in Mississippi and interviewing the locals, Frank was introduced to an African-American waiter named Booker Wright. With utter candor and a brazen lack of concern for his own well-being, Booker appeared on tape in the documentary and spoke openly and honestly about the realities of living in a racist society. This brief interview forever changed the lives of Booker and his family, and more than 40 years later, Frank’s son Raymond DeFelitta (director of City Island) returns to the site of his father’s film to examine the repercussions of this fateful interview.

Hotel Transylvania

Dracula (Adam Sandler), who operates a high-end resort away from the human world, goes into overprotective mode when a boy discovers the resort and falls for the count’s teen-aged daughter.

Nobody Else But You

Rousseau is a bestselling crime novelist from Paris, troubled by writer’s block. Candice Lecoeur is a local beauty, gracing the famous “Belle de Jura” cheese packaging, who has gotten it into her head that she might well be the reincarnation of Marilyn Monroe. The two will meet in the coldest village in France, but only after Candice has been found dead. The case was closed before it even opened and the cause of death declared suicide by sleeping pills. Rousseau is the only one who doesn’t buy it. Reality turns out to be stranger than fiction – and a source of inspiration – as Rousseau uncovers the truth about Candice’s past and her untimely death.

Dreamscapes

A portrait of renowned contemporary painter Stephen Hannock at work in his studio, on the road, and at home with his daughter. Following the artist from the Newcastle opening of Northern City Renaissance (a work commissioned by Sting as a gift to his hometown) to the canals of Venice and the streets of New York that inspired his muralistic installations, Dreamscapes looks behind and beyond the canvas.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation

The Four Chinese

This zombie martial arts movie follows an undercover agent. He is assigned by his corrupt chief to infiltrate a rival department and sabotage their investigation of counterfeit currency. What he discovers is the counterfeiter’s real plan. To overthrow the capital. Not by flooding it with funny money, but with an army of undead.

The Cup

Born into a legendary racing family, jockeys Damien Oliver (STEPHEN CURRY) and his brother, Jason (DANIEL MACPHERSON), were destined for greatness. However, tragedy strikes when Jason is in a deathly riding accident just days before the prestigious Melbourne Cup race. Damien considers bowing out of the race and wonders if he’ll ever ride again, but with the encouragement of famed Irish horse trainer Dermot Weld (BRENDAN GLEESON), he realizes that racing is the one way he can pay tribute to the memory of his beloved brother. In a moment that captured the attention – and the hearts – of the world, Damien and his horse Media Puzzle victoriously cross the finish line at the Melbourne Cup.

Fin (The End)

A group of old friends gets together for a weekend in a mountain cabin. Years have gone by and yet nothing seems to have changed between them. But lurking behind the laughter and stories is a murky episode from the past that continues to haunt them. A strange, sudden incident alters their plans, leaving them stranded and with no line of communication to the outside world. On their way for help, the group starts to disintegrate, just as a new natural order is unveiled before their astonished eyes.
