Hemlock Grove is the new show by Eli Roth who also directed the first episode.
Based on Brian McGreevy’s novel of the same name, the series revolves around the eccentric residents of a dilapidated former Pennsylvania steel town and the murder of 17-year-old Brooke Bluebell.
A young girl is brutally murdered and found near the former Godfrey steel mill. As rumors mount, two of the suspects in her killing–Peter Rumancek, a 17-year-old Gypsy trailer trash kid rumored to be a werewolf, and Roman, the heir to the Godfrey estate–decide to find the killer themselves.
A new trailer is now out which gives us our first look at the show. It does look good and the fact Roth is involved means that, hopefully, it will not be some kind of Twilight take on the werewolf myth.
The show stars Famke Janssen, Bill Skarsgard, Landon Liboiron, Freya Tingley and Dougray Scott.
All 13-episodes will be on Netflix from 19th April.
