Tom Hiddleston and Tilda Swinton are Vampires in new Jim Jarmusch film

My first thought on seeing and reading about Jim Jarmusch’s vampire love story, Only Lovers Left Alive, is that it reminds me of Tony Scott’s The Hunger mixed with The Vampire Lestat stories of Anne Rice. I am sure this new film will go a different way.

The film stars Tilda Swinton, Tom Hiddleston, Mia Wasikowska, John Hurt and Anton Yelchin.

IndieWire had this first image and a brief synopsis of the film.

Hiddleston plays Adam, an underground musician who’s deeply depressed by the direction of human activities. He reunites with his centuries-long lover, Eve (Swinton), though their idyll is soon interrupted by Eve’s wild and uncontrollable younger sister Ava (Wasikowska).

That synopsis does not actually mention vampires so I wonder if there will be more to this than meets the eye?
