Blackbeard talks about the fearsome Captain Edward Canway. That is the playable character in the new Assassin’s Creed 4 game, the father of Haytham Kenway from Assassin’s Creed 3. Edward is known as a Privateer, Assassin and pirate.
It looks as if they have gone with the direction set up with the naval combat from the third game.
A pirate based Assassin’s Creed could be good although can a pirate really be a secret, sneaky assassin?
